Hey lovies, I hope you are well! Zara has always been serving us looks and making sure we are always looking our best. With the launching of Zara Online in South Africa, I thought it would be great to scroll around their website and choose 5 must have shop items from Zara.
Hey guys what’s popping? Welcome right back to JourneySpeaks!! Winter is right around the corner(like literally quarter to) and so for today’s blog post I want to get you ready and rocking by showing you some staple pieces you will need to make sure you’re always stylish but still warm at the same time.
Summer has got to be the season for fashion.!! With beautiful skin tones and being able to show off some skin, what is there not to love?! Today I will be sharing with you 4 trends to make sure you slay this summer.
Culottes have been my favourite type of pants since over-sized denim jeans were the ish. However, I did not like how oversized denim jeans looked on me so I chose the next best thing. I feel like culottes can turn an outfit from a basic to an A without even trying! The more reason I like them is that they look good on every body type and they can be dressed up or down depending on what you pair them up with.
2. Over the shoulder dresses and shirts.
What is summer without skirts and dresses? For this summer showing off your shoulders is the in thing! What I love about over the shoulder dresses and shirts is that they are very cool pieces to wear as they bring in some fresh air. An add-on to them being great is that you can move these pieces from a summery casual outfit to a formal evening outfit with just what you wear the pieces with.
Skaters have been the in thing since I can remember and for them to be coming back is doing some of us a favour. If you are in a workspace or you’d love to look put together then I do recommend skaters because they look amazing! You can pair them up with some cool jackets. bodysuits or even off the shoulder shirts.
4. Block heel sandals
Now, who doesn’t love to look sexy but at the same time comfortable?! Block heels are the in thing at the moment as they make sure you look good but at the same time, your feet aren’t paining. You can get these literally anywhere in all colours and styles so get yourself a pair. What I love about block heel sandals is that you can pair them up with any outfit from casual to formal and you would still look great.
Those are the 4 trendy pieces you should rock this summer. If you do like this post please give it a like and don’t forget to follow if this is your first time visiting. Mwah xo
Hey guys what is good?! Welcome right back to the blog. So today I’ve got an exciting guest/friend who’s gonna be answering some popping ass questions that we’ve all been wanting to hear about. Luke India Ramos is a fashion and beauty enthusiast that I feel is so underrated because if you see all the work he does and the amount of slayage, I swear people are sleeping on him!!! Anyway today, Luke will be answering 5 questions that will hopefully keep us going for the summer.
1. Describe your summer go to outfit
My go to summer outfit would be culottes and a shirt. Off the shoulder and bell sleeve shirts are “haute” at the moment, so that’s what I will be pairing with my culottes and either sneakers or slides this summer. To top it off, a pair of sunglasses will complete the slay.
2. Do you always go with the same style or do you get bored easily and move to the next.
I do. All the time. While still maintaining a minimalist aesthetic, I am constantly changing up my style.
3. What inspires what you wear.
My outfits are mostly inspired by street style, by what is trending in fashion at the time and by what some of my favourite fashion role models are wearing.
No, I don’t think so. I know so! My style is forever changing and this year I underwent an extreme style change when I shaved all my hair and dyed it pink. I don’t know how dramatically my style will change though but I can certainly tell you that it will.
I don’t necessarily have tips but I can give you advice. Everyone has their own style, so if you own what you wear and wear it confidently, you are bound to slay. Be sure make sure you have a good face beat too – LOL.
Yuup guys so that is it from Luke India Ramos. Hoepfully you guys will get to see more of him on my blog and hopefully we can get a round 2 of the questions. If you did like this post please give it a like and don’t forget to give him some love by check out Luke on his blog aswell as all his other socials.

Hey guys what is up?! Today I will be showing you how to live the baddie life to the fullest by introducing you to Funny she jill(FSJ) which is a shoe brand that deals with vintage shoes. Yes, they have all those vintage shoes that you see on magazines and that you see models wearing.
FSJ vintage Shoes literally allows you to be whoever you want to be or see yourself as-and I think that’s what attracted me more to FSJ mostly. They literally have all sorts of styles you wouldn’t think anyone has and what I love is that everything is there for you to know. They’ll give you all product details so that you’re not confused but you know exactly what you are getting -which is great for people that live far. With FSJ vintage shoes you can literally go back 15 years back with their vintage styles but still look good. Fsj Shoes literally puts vintage and stylish in one sentence.
Launched in 1998, FSJ provides a complete assortment of FSJ merchandise to clients in the United States and internationally. FSJ insists on the quality and upholds the excellent high standard of crafts.
Can we also talk about how cheap their shoes are?! Most of the time vintage shoes (especially) are very expensive and hard to find but here you have a huge range of all types, all colours and all shapes of vintage shoes for almost half the price of what you would normally get them for i am still shocked!!! Its like heaven on a site.
What is great is that FSJ shoes also has dupes of other shoes that you would see other people or celebrities wearing but with their own fell and touch also making sure that the price is attractive. I have not tried their shoes out yet to talk about delivery, timing and quality but let me just say I see stars every time I check out their site and what they have _ its heaven!!
To add sauce to their vintage shoes, FSJ shoes has such a variety of colours to play around with that you are always sorted. They also focus on different targets and not just one and you see this by the amount of different styles there is. They have from stilettos, wedges, block heels to straight up sandals and as they say “FSJ, spares no effort to make every product special and impeccable.”
So guys while I go do my shopping for some bougee shoes and get my baddie life together please do the same because I’d hate for you to feel left out. Vintage is the new ish right now so go get yourself some classic vintage shoes from FSJ
Hey guys what is good?! How is winter treating some of you guys? When winter started rolling in here in South Africa I had easily decided to go shopping for some new jackets. I actually found three new ones to add to the collection but today I want to speak about the army green bomber jacket I picked up from Lehgit.
For the longest time I have been looking for a long army green bomber but have not been fully satisfied with the ones I have been seeing. However when I went to Legit the other day and spotted this one, Heaven fell to earth. From just looking at it, I had already decided I was leaving with it.
I spotted this one in Campus Square and could already see the outfits that I could create with it in my mind. I’ve been buying a lot of things of this colour and to add this bomber jacket to the collection was such a pleasure. Firstly the jacket is warm! From just looking at it, you would think it’s just a jacket that would make you look nice but at the same time make you freeze but absolutely not! The jacket is honestly so warm that you don’t need to layer anything in.
The jacket has also got that oversized feel to it giving a Rihanna(bad girl) kind of vibe but because it’s also long it’s got that stylish feel to it automatically upgrading any look to the next level. I also love the fact that you can remove the fur on it making the jacket wearable for all seasons.
Because it is an outfit upgrader I easily wear this jacket with simple things inside, For instance I would add in some black jeans/leggings and just a simple top because the jacket already takes the outfit from level to level.

Hey guys what is popping? Today I’m coming at you with another Fashion blogpost featuring these bomb ass pants that have for some reason being trending. I’ve had these pants for the longest time and only today I decided to take them out and do a little something with them.
I actually didn’t even think these pants would fit me when I took them out because of how long ive had them but God was like daughter, you don’t need to spend that R300, I got you. I don’t know where I bought them but you can get something like this at Sportscene or Adidas.
The shirt I got from Legit last year on black Friday and I’ve been loving it forever since. It’s actually a body suit and I like how sexy it can make an outfit.
Thank you so much for reading. If you loved this post please give it a like and then share it to someone else.
Hey guys what is popping? Today I wanted to showcase a bunch of looks that have been giving me a lot of heat. With the new saving button on Instagram I have a lot of looks saved that I’d love to recreate. I have been loving a lot of the clothes that Kellie Sweet wears these days since I do like trashy kind of boyish clothing so most of these outfits will be kind of inspired by or similar to hers.
Lately I’ve been loving fishnets dearly. A look could be just like any other look until you add fishnets. They are like the cherry on top. I haven’t been able to get myself are pair of fishnets but I just know I’d abuse them if I had are pair. PS : please let me know where I could get them in SA.
Sweat pants and jumper pants.
Jumper pants? Is that even a word? I don’t know but what I do know is that I love these type of pants. I’ve got two sides: the girly side and the boyish side. But sometimes I do like to mix up both the sides and get like an equally weird outcome. For example I’m the type to dress up sweat pants by wearing heels and bralets with them.
I don’t know what the disease is called but I’ve been obsessed with different types of jackets. I’d be the type to have a huge collection of them. Just like fishnets a jacket could up an outfit from a 0 to a 1000. At the moment oversized and long jackets are my favourite because they just dramatise a whole outfit.
Shirts and Dresses.
Tight dresses and oversized shirts are where it’s at. I’m the type of person to up a totally basic outfit into something you’d think I spent a lot on. I find the fun in mixing and matching small little things until they become this overrated thing. For example how something as basic as a tshirt could be uped with an oversized jacket, fishnet and thigh high boots.
So those are half the things I’ve been obsessed with. I am planning a part two of this post with makeup though so if you’d be interested hit the like button.
Thank you so much for reading. I really hope you liked this post.
Hey guys what is up? Welcome right back so today I’m doing my second collaboration with Kayla whom I totally love. For this collaboration we are doing a Christmas shopping haul. I’m very excited for this one actually because I don’t get to suck at it like my cookies did. Do go and check out our last one here. So I haven’t been shopping much actually because I’ve been working so I haven’t had much time but here’s what I bought.
So I bought this bodysuit mainly because I don’t have clothes this colour but as soon as I tried it on I fell in love with it. It’s got this curtain kind of thing in the front which I really love because you don’t see a lot of clothing with it. I did buy this on black Friday so I bought it for R83.99
Okay so I’ve been searching around for this top for long. My mom loves these tops but whenever we tried buying a top like this we just ended up putting it back, whether it was too faded, the colour wasn’t nice or it was too big. So I’ve gotten the chance to get one like this. When I saw this one I literally just grabbed it because the colour is firstly awesome and it looked good on my skin tone so yeah. I did buy this shirt for R69.99
Okay so I’ve been so obsessed with long cover ups and jackets this year so when I saw this one at Mr Price, I literally died. I was like no, let’s leave everything else, all I want is this. I also love the fact that its not a colourful shirt meaning it goes with my colour scheme and that I could actually style it in many different ways. This shirt was only R169.99.
The last casual thing that I bought was this green striped dress that had this raised collar (I forgot the name lol). I bought this at Legit for R84.01 and my mom is actually the one who said I must try it on. At first I was like mhmm no but as soon as I put it on guys I was like yow! You’re coming with me. Firstly the colour and the fact that it is a bodycon was an A+
Now I recently started working at some company, so as a teenager I didn’t have any work clothes so I ended up using all my money on that. So I’m gonna incorporate all of that into this haul because otherwise this haul would have been short.
I only bought one blouse mainly because the prices were insane so I ended up buying this checkered blue blouse that gave a lot of air and space. I really love this blouse because the material is kind of that formal classy kind and it is blue meaning I can style it in many different ways.
I bought these heels for R329.99 at Edgars and at first I wasn’t sure about them because they’ve got such a small heel and I’m about that big life however when I put them I actually saw how stunning they looked, especially since I have thin feet. So I actually love them.
So the first pair of pants that I bought were from Topshop Edgars and I bought them for R249.95 which was a complete bargain because the original price was R469 so I was very happy about that. Theses pants are in a standard navy blue colour and I like that because they are standard you can wear a different top everyday and people would still think that you’re wearing something different.
Then I also bought these standard black pants also which have the same cut as the above pants just that these ones are a black colour. I also bought them for the same reason as the above. These pants however were R399
The last pair of pants I bought was a funky colour, just to balance out the boring days. The colour of these pants actually pulled me in because I’m currently obsessed with such colours. Theses pants however are tight as if you’re wearing leggings of some sort so that was kind of an off. But I still love them wholey. I also bought them at a bargain because the original price was R799 and I got them for R425.
Yuup guys so that is my Christmas haul. I know I don’t have candles and Christmassy stuff but I’m a savage so I’m gonna definitely call it a Christmas haul. Lol comment down below what is the not so christmassy thing you’ve bought in December. Don’t forget to go and check out KaylaHope’s blogppost and her instagram. She’s such a sweet child so go make friends with her.

Hey guys what is up?! Welcome to another collab! Today I am collaborating with the beautiful Helen whom I look up to so much, shes got such a beautiful instagram and her blog is such A levels. Me and Helen decided to recreate celebrity looks and this is what we’ve both come up with.
What Helen created.
Looking for an outfit that’s tailored with a hint of bohemian?
Emily Ratajkowski’s smart window-pane pants blends in with
her casual suede jacket perfectly! By investing in key basic
pieces: pants, sneakers and a black top paired with a trendy
item, you’ll never look out of style!
Selena Gomez rocks this simple androgynous outfit! Create a
minimalist base with a white tee, black leggings and sneakers.
Accessorize with a cosy beanie and retro inspired glasses.
Finally, top it off with an elegant navy coat to create that
tailored put together stream lined look, and you’re complete!
Here Bella is wearing something that almost all of us have and I like that it is completely casual. You can go anywhere with it and still look stylish.I also like the fact that she put a body suit with the outfit because it makes the outfit a little tad more stylish and sexier. The boots also add a little more sauce to the outfit just so that you don’t see it as just an outfit but something a bit more.
Yuup guys so that it our looks. Leave a comment telling me which was your favorite look above. Also don’t forget to add Helen on Instagram and read up on her blog. She is such an amazing person. Also wanna say thank you to her to agreeing to do this post.
